simple, affordable and safe ways to unlock the processor m192 icera not exist .. just as there is no recovery options including jtag ;-) in any case, you risk killing modem..

Just one more thing. How can I replace the CDFS files in the modem with my own? Where can I get the zte mf192 dashboard with voice and USSD that has no operator locked to it?

You can't... No free solution to do it... But you can try to download МТС-Коннект_MF652 and install it on your computer...

mephody It failed at first so I edited the configuration and network settings in the setup file to detect PID_1518 and it finally detected, even changed the mts startup homepage to my own.

It finally enabled USSD and I took a look at it but it lacks the ability to send hash codes via query menu like the way the phone does, huawei has this option in the generic connection manager and it's what am looking for, I went to zte website to see whether I could get the generic zte mf192 connection manager but it has not been released yet, the one you gave me for mf652 also showed the strength of the network and activated 3g and was responding well with the operator but couldn't access my free 1 month internet offer even with correct network settings. Could it be because of the lock?

Have you noticed zte the company has failed to release its original connection manager software even more than a year after the modem's release? Why is this?
Has anyone really unlocked this model successfully without bugs or killing it?

Fronius, Your modem is built on the chipset of ICERA and original connect-manager is failed to work with it... About unlocking, told you above it... Sorry...
